Down below, you will read more about my experiences and skills I developed over the years from past employers and my education.
My Work/School Journey

Curie High School
In 2013, I graduated from Curie High School with honors and multiple awards. During my 4 years in high school I was able to excel well in my studies and finished with a 4.2 overall GPA. I was also heavily involved in sports (soccer, waterpolo, volleyball) and clubs (Latino Juntos, Journalism, French Club, English & Poetry Club) that helped me shape my communication and leadership. Lastly, I also majored in Architecture. During my Senior, year I won the Chicago Architect competition which helped me land an internship once I graduated.

Architect Internship
In 2013, I won the overall Chicago Newhouse Architecture competition. Due to an outstanding job on my architect project, I had received several internship opportunities from several respective architect firms that attended this competition. Therefore, I started working with Eckenhoff Saunders Architect firm for the 2013 Summer. During my time here, I learned to utilize graphic designs programs to execute various architect projects. I worked along side professional architects to understand how to analyze and manage big projects. This is where I gained experience working in high pressure environments while meeting deadlines.

UIC
Starting Fall of 2013, I attended to UIC with a major focus in Architecture. After a semester, I started to develop interests in marketing and communication. Therefore, I switched major from architecture to marketing with a concentration in promotions and communications. I graduated from UIC in Spring of 2018 with a Bachelor's in Marketing with a GPA 3.2. During my time here, I had honor to have one of my article to published in one of UIC student magazine. Also, I was heavily involved with UIC Radio and American Marketing Association while interning for Univision and working for GT Universe.

Univision
I started working for Univision as a Board Operator and part-time personality on May of 2019. During my time here, I was in charged of controlling TUDN sport broadcasting radio channel during Chicago sport events. I made sure I executed commercials when needed, made sure journalist/broadcasters/commentators were on top of their duties. During off radio, I contributed marketing ideas for Univision's social media by creating content that help connect and resonate more with our listeners/viewers. Also, I was in charged of promoting organized events, or spread useful information using my personal social media as I was considered a influencer/public personality at the time.

GT Universe
I've started working for GT Universe in 2015 as a Brand Ambassador. GT Universe is a brand activation agency based in the Chicagoland area focusing on building brand loyalty amongst the new, cultural consumer. As a brand ambassador, I worked in various type of events across Chicagoland working with over 100 different brands promoting their products to the consumers in a unique and creative way. Within in a year with over $50k in products sales, I then was promoted to Event Manager in 2016. As an event manager, I was in charged of coordinating and preparing on-site events and supervising/motivating over more than 10 brand ambassadors at a time. I helped make sure our brand ambassador were reaching our brand's goals and making sure we kept our client satisfied up until 2018 when I then was promoted as a Project Coordinator. As a project coordinator, my duties were to be in charged of planning and executing ideas for future events for Jewel-Osco. I spend most of my time researching and reaching out to potential brands, influencers and organization that we can work with during events. I was also in charged of managing GT Universe's social media by constantly updating and creating marketing content for various media platforms. In addition, I was also involved in graphic design where I spent time creating marketing tools for advertisements such as flyers, recaps, etc. Lastly, I was also spend sometime being the company's designated photographer for small events. Therefore, I worked for this company up until March of 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic began.

SPORTalk Internship
I started an internship with SPORTalk as a Digital Sport Promoter in 2015. SPORTalk was a social media platform dedicated to everything sports. SPORTalk united two of the world's most active and influential industries--sports and social networking--to connect sports fans everywhere with their favorite leagues, teams, games, and each other. Therefore, my duties as an intern was to help promote Chicago teams, specifically Chicago Bulls and White Sox, through the app by connecting to their fanbase. I was also in charged of updating score line, and play-by-play and any other in-game information for the Bulls and White Sox SPORTalk page. Lastly, I was also involve in connecting and chatting with online users to create a unique and fun experience for them.
